Evelyn's space

Dear Space Friends although I have not posted in awhile I still check in on all of you from time to time.  I could not believe my eyes when I read that Al had passed.

He was one of my first friends on Spaces and always had words of encourgement and concern for me.  He was very talented and a hero in my book. To say that I will miss him sounds trite because I can't put the sadness i feel into words. 

   

As for me and my dear hubby we are still trying to grasp  and understand the Cancer that has taken over his body.  He gets blood transfusions about every three weeks but they can't seem to get his blood count above .9 which puts a terrible strain on his heart as it tries to pump what blood he has to all his vital organs.  He is very week but not bed ridden.   I am going to M.D. Anderson Cancer Reshearch Center in Houston, TX on Monday.  I am going with my Ya Ya sister who has non hoskins lymphomia and has received eight sets of Chemo Treatments and now it is time to go for the results.  We are trying to get a consultation for my hubby for a second opinion.  I will be taking his medical records with me and will leave them for the Drs to go over. I will try to check in from time to time with updates.  I am on facebook if any of you want to join me there.

                              21. I play the tambourine in an all girl jug band.

                              22. I was holding my mother's hand when she died.

                              23. I believe that I don't have enough time left to do all the things I want to do.
